The Awakening

Friday 27 February 2015

7.00pm-9.00pm, The Meeting Room,

The Seekers Trust, Addington,

nr West Malling

It is time to become Awake. To let go of limitations, old ideas, the chattering ego mind. It is time to move from unconsciousness to consciousness. From ignorance to awareness.  From dualism to unity. From conflict to love.  Are you ready?  There is a wave of awakening happening in the world right now. Yes, in the middle of all the wars and conflicts, many many people are waking up to their true nature and letting go of old mental dramas.

In the process of awakening you start to realize that you are the creator of your own life and you take responsibility for that.  You stop complaining about him/her/that and realize that there is nothing outside of yourself. It all comes from the inside. And that is where the power lies! You move from fear to love, from confusion to clarity, from struggle to joy. And you base your life around Inspiration!

This meeting will be in a Satsang style.

What is Satsang?

Satsang is a Sanskrit word that means "gathering together for the truth" or, more simply, "being with the truth." Truth is what is real, what exists. So all there is, is Truth. Whenever something increases your experience of the Truth, it opens your Heart and quiets your mind. Conversely, whenever something, such as a thought, fear, or judgment, limits or narrows your experience of the Truth, the Heart contracts and the mind gets busier.

During this evening we will do some Meditation followed by a discussion on a Spiritual topic. This can be anything that arises spontaneously from me or from any of the participants.  It will be very relaxed and informal.

Tea/herbal teas and snacks will be served.

Fee: £15

Please note: Pre-bookings only. All profits to go the RSPCA.

Truth is too simple for words

before thought gets tangled up in nouns and verbs

there is a wordless sound

a deep breathless sigh

of overwhelming relief

to find the end of fiction

in this ordinary

yet extraordinary moment

when words are recognized

as words

and truth is recognized

as everything else
